This AMERCAN HEART ASSOCIATION Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) training course is designed to prepare participants to perform advanced life support procedures on pediatric patients. Participants will receive training in the specific skills and concepts revolving around pediatric patients such as airway management and ventilation, vascular access, pediatric fluid therapy and pharmacology, cardiac disturbances and resuscitation.

Audience: PALS is designed for Allied healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies with pediatric patients. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units. The AHA’s course is the premier PALS training for healthcare providers. The evidence-based content and well-tested teaching methodology can dramatically improve the learning and retention of lifesaving skills.
